Cork City FC has launched the 2025 home and away shirts, which have been designed and manufactured by the club itself. It’s a first for Rebel Army Clothing, the club’s new in-house brand.
The home jersey takes inspiration from Cork city’s Norse / Viking history and there is a faint pattern on the body of the shirt taken from the drawings of that era. The white shirt features a woven club badge, with an embroidered outline, and displays the Zeus Packaging logo on the front. There is a green and red vertical line running down the front of the jersey which also has a green and red trim around the neckline.
While the new away orange shirt was launched in collaboration with Cork band, The Frank and Walters, which pays homage to the band’s iconic stage outfits and was unveiled at the club’s 40th anniversary and end-of-season dinner over the weekend. The Franks entertained the gathering by playing some of their most popular hits while wearing the new jersey.
It features the words “After All” on the sleeve cuffs, a nod to one of Leeside’s most-loved songs and one that is often heard ringing out around Turner’s Cross. It also features the name of the band on the back of the shirt.
Owner of Cork City FC, Dermot Usher, stated that he was “delighted” that the new jerseys are €15 cheaper than last year.
“We are always excited about the launch of our new jersey but this year has the added bonus of being designed and manufactured by our own in-house team. Rebel Army Clothing has been producing superb products since it launched this year and we are exceptionally proud to say that the club is now able to make its own jersey. We’re also delighted to confirm that the jerseys are €15 cheaper than last year, another plus for City fans.”
The 2025 home and away jerseys is now available in the Cork City FC shop in Douglas and online. Prices are €60 for adult and youth sizes, while kid sizes are €50. Further exclusive clothing brands by Rebel Army Clothing will be introduced next year.
