Friday, October 18th is fast approaching and the Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown is the place to be for ‘A Night Of Glitz & Glamour’. This fashion show extravaganza event is a fundraiser for Cork Arc Cancer Support House with all proceeds going to this fantastic charity.
The organisers have been genuinely blown away by the support to date, between sponsorship of spot prizes, heartfelt goodwill from companies and individuals and an all-round feeling of genuine support.
A total of 33 models, both male and female, will be modelling for 11 different shops and the event will be compered by Helen Murphy (Daily Diva Diary). Featured shops are 2Shoes, Suzsa, The Wardrobe, The Dolls House and Today’s Man Mitchelstown, Love Cherish Charleville, TLC Carrignavar, Mr Mister Cahir and Cashel, and Carma, Vanilla and Hickey’s from Fermoy.
Thanks to the generosity shown by so many sponsors, a monster raffle will take place on the night. Tickets are being sold in advance and are available from committee members, if you would like to support and be in with a chance to win prizes such as nights away in a selection of top hotels, vouchers, hampers and a host of more prizes on offer.
A huge amount of work is going on in the back ground to make this event magical with the organisers having a surprise or two up their sleeves. They would like to sincerely thank everyone for the support shown, including, The Favourite Mitchelstown, the Community Office and Thornhill’s Kildorrery who have handled ticket sales with exceptional efficiency. On the night, doors will open at 7pm with a cheese and wine reception, and the show will commence at 8pm.
