NORTH CORK LEAGUE (NCL) AND MUNSTER WINTER LEAGUE (MWL)

We have 2 teams competing in Division 3 of the NCL. Our A team of Liam O’Grady, Sean Keane, Marie T O’Kennedy and Josie Cunningham are top of their group going into the final series of games. They have played very consistently and are looking good for a place in the semi-finals.

Our B team of Mary Cahill, Liz Cotter, Thomas Murphy and Veendra Patil have had a mixed campaign winning one, drawing two and losing one match. They were at home last night (Wednesday) to Mallow where nothing but a win would see them advance. Our grade 4 MWL team had a great battle with St Anne’s (Waterford City) at club HQ on Sunday morning. All 4 games went to 3 sets but we ended up on the wrong side of a 3-1 scoreline. Well done to our team Helena O’Brien, Catherine O’Keeffe, Shane Kirby and Liam Kent.
