Trend Micro, in partnership with COGG (The Council for Gaeltacht and Gaelscoileanna Education), recently launched their Cyber Academy in the Irish language.
This academy is aimed at children aged 7 to 11 years and is comprised of 11 all-important topics, covering everything from passwords and camera safety to kindness, misinformation and time online.
The launch coincided with the launch of Seachtain na Gaeilge earlier this month. Trend Micro and COGG this week hosted a free webinar for schools as Gaeilge (Tuesday, 19th March) for 3rd to 6th class pupils. Available to schools all around the country, it covered two of the Cyber Academy topics: Pasfhocail (passwords) and Fíordheimhniú déshraithe (twofactor authentication).
