Sherlock welcomes Colaiste Fermoy planning

Minister Seán Sherlock has warmly welcomed the news that Colaiste an Chraoibhín, Fermoy has lodged planning permission for a major extension.

Minister of State at the Department of Education & Skills, Seán Sherlock TD, has warmly welcomed the news that Colaiste an Chraoibhín, Fermoy has lodged planning permission for a major extension.

“This represents massive progress for the Colaiste and the catchment area from which the student population is pulled” the Minister said.

“I look forward to seeing this application progress and to a positive result, meaning that work can start as soon as possible. It’s vital for Colaiste an Chraoibhín and, having met recently with management, I am being kept up to date on the plans as they progress. Any parent with children in Colaiste an Chraoibhín will know the work that already has gone into this application. Getting to this stage is already a boost, so I look forward to the next stage being completed in a timely manner.”

Planning for the stand-alone extension was submitted on November 11th.
