Fermoy Camera Club volunteers put in an enormous amount of work preparing The Grand Hotel for last Friday night's exhibition of their work in The Grand Hotel, Fermoy.

Thanks to a concerted effort, all photographs were professionally presented for the public to inspect. Billed as a gala night, the event lived up to expectations with wine, refreshments and live music all part of the experience. Again, the professionalism and attention to detail of camera club members was evident.

Given the large numbers in attendance, considerable money was circulated and this was all good news for the Fermoy branch of COPE. Expressing his heartfelt thanks to Fermoy Camera Club, COPE Fermoy fundraising representative, Ian Fleming said the gala night displayed the generosity and goodwill of locals. He acknowledged the creativity and technical expertise of those who captured so many wonderful images and didn't forget to mention the photographs taken and exhibited by COPE, Fermoy residents.

Castlelyons Gospel Choir and Fermoy Concert Band provided the musical backdrop to what was a most pleasant and rewarding evening for Fermoy Camera Club, along with all those who work with and assist residents of the excellent COPE facility in Fermoy.
