Local singer songwriter KAR (Karen Comerford) has just released her second single, ‘Ecstasy’.
Hot on the heels of her previous single ‘Time’, released in May, she is hoping her new single will be as successful. The signs are good so far, being well received by fans countrywide and receiving airplay on Today FM, amongst other radio stations nationwide.
‘Time’ held the No 1. spot on iTunes pop chart last May and was tune of the week on Today FM. It’s clear that the talented Clondulane born music student has set the bar just as high for ‘Ecstasy.
Karen has been performing locally from a very young age, including her own material and doing some wonderful covers at gigs in Cheers, Fermoy, as well as in O’Doherty’s Bar, Clondulane.
KAR’s songs have been well produced by Mike Roche of Hillview Studios, Fermoy, once again showcasing the musical talent in the area.
On the release of her new song, KAR said she is “very excited and had so much fun writing the track”, which was performed live for the first time at the recent Clondulane Music on the Green festival, where she thanked everyone for their support and good wishes.
