Two hours and 17 acts later, the crowd that turned out to this year's performance of Fanahan's FAME were left awestruck at the talent they witnessed on stage, in this, the tenth year of the ever popular show.

This year's show saw a medley of acts take to the stage, including singers, impersonators, comedians, musicians and even a performance of a One Direction song using cups, the show coming to a close with a performance from the school's choir. There were certainly a lot of future stars in the making on the night.

While all of the acts were a wonder to behold, only four could go home with prizes and guest judges Shannon Murphy from The Voice of Ireland and Rachel Owens of Dramattack Stage School had a tough job to pick the winners.

The 1st year students 'New Generation' picked up the audience vote, Odhran Brennan Hayes and Aine Slattery shared third prize, Dylan Reidy-Price won second place and the top prize for 2013 was won by Ria Burke.

Drama teacher Enda McCafferty was thrilled with how the night went off.  “It’s getting bigger and better every year. It’s thrilling to be a part of it," she said.

The school wished to thank everyone who supported the concert, teachers Mrs McCafferty and Ms Kelleher who put in so much hard work organising the night and Naoise O'Sullivan who played the bass and keyboard.

Thanks were also extended to those who worked backstage to make sure that the whole night went off without a hitch, including Andrew Mackin (stage manager) and Dylan Farrelly, Jack O’Sullivan, James Mulcahy, John O’Grady, PJ Nixon, Jack O’Donovan, Simon O’Brien and Damien Curran who were on hand all night, organising microphones and stage props.
