Business has been booming at Brian Boru Square where Mellis Motors recently celebrated two years of keeping cars and vans on safely the road in Fermoy.
Having opened the doors for the first time on May 31, 2021, Araglin local Lewis Mellis said that there is no ‘downtime’ anymore, as he has been kept busy since that very first day.
“It’s been brilliant, it’s really gone up and up constantly. There’s no downtime anymore.
“Because it’s two years in now, we’re starting to see repeat custom now. Usually, people get a service every year or so, so we’re getting a lot of repeat custom, a lot of new customers. Word of mouth has spread, and everyone seems to be really happy with the quality of work being put out here, it’s a good thing,” Lewis said.
Situated at the former site of Harrington’s Garage, Mellis Motors offers servicing, repairs, diagnostics, tracking, light focusing as well as a range of other services.
Having recently celebrated two years of business, Lewis extended his thanks to the customers who have kept Mellis Motors busy and thriving during that time and continue to do so.
With a wealth of experience, Lewis began his apprenticeship over 15 years ago in Fermoy and has since worked with main dealers in Audi, Nissan, and Toyota as well as in a host of local private garages before opening up his own.
Located directly across from Fermoy Town Park, Mellis Motors welcomes new and returning customers to see their car problems, NCT fails and any minor or major issues sorted out locally.
Mellis Motors are open for business with local mechanic Lewis on call from Brian Boru Square in Fermoy from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings.
