A coffee morning is being hosted by community health worker Jacinta McCormack, at Fermoy Community Resource Centre on Thursday next, January 30 from 1.30 to 1pm. The theme of the coffee morning is ‘Its Time to Talk About Mental Health.’
“It is hoped that people from our community will come along and have meaningful conversations about mental health and most importantly, find out how to get help if they or someone they love is experiencing a problem. Remember, a problem shared is a problem halved,” Jacinta said.
The event is part of a two day nationwide fundraising campaign by Aware and monies raised will go towards Aware’s Support Services nationwide.
