This year's Araglin Dog Show takes place in the community field next Sunday (June 29th) and it has all the makings of a very enjoyable occasion.

Local patrons are supplemented by those who travel from as far away as Cork City to be part of the show. Overseen by a small but hardworking group of volunteers, it has proved a be a great crowd puller since it started a few years back and appeals to age groups from youngsters and their pets, to owners of pedigree animals.

Araglin Carnival committee have kindly made their famous swinging boats available for the day and there will be plenty of other forms of amusements. A refreshments tent will also be in operation. Thanks to the efforts of local FAS and TUS workers, the community field is looking well and there should be no problems with access or parking. Everyone welcome on the day.
