Spirit of St Bernard’s alive and well

A lot of new addresses have sprung up in Fermoy over the last few years. Comprising people ‘starting out’, all are contributing to the social fabric of the town. 

St Bernard’s Place is a more established location. Situated on the northern side of Fermoy, it’s primarily composed of families, couples and people living on their own.

Julette Higgins’ parents, Seamus and Irene, live in St Bernards. Both are ‘cocooned’. Julette and other members of her family make sure they don’t want for anything.
