Cork County Council does not have detailed policies and procedures in relation to the construction and layout of ‘Columbariums’ to enable the Fermoy Municipal District put a Rose Garden in place for the burial of urns in Kilcrumper New Cemetery.
That was the response of Pauline Moriarty, Municipal District Officer to a motion from Cllr Deirdre O’Brien who asked that the Council put plans in place for the burial of urns at Kilcrumper New Cemetery.
