Fermoy lady to feature on The Afternoon Show

Trudy O’Brien from Fermoy, has been selected to represent her company on TV3s The Afternoon Show

Fermoy lady, Trudy O'Brien, has been selected to represent her company on TV3s The Afternoon Show with Maura Derrane and Daithi O'Shea.

The show is being broadcast live from the Cork Studios on the 16th, 23rd and 30th of October and Trudy will be featured doing live makeovers.

Trudy is the daughter of Helen and Moss O'Brien and was educated at Loreto Convent Fermoy, always ambitious to travel; she has worked in Australia, Hong Kong and The Netherlands.

It was during her time in Amsterdam that she decided to attend one of the lynn.world’s top make-up and artistry schools, Else Le Compt. It was here that she learned the skills of make-up for films, television and theatre.

Trudy returned home in 2007 to help out with family business, since then she has worked as a make-up artist for special occasions such as weddings and debs and now gives master-classes from a studio in her own home, she is also happy to visit clients in their own homes.

She has been a consultant and make-up artist for some of the top companies in the world and has worked for Debenhams and Brown Thomas.
