Once again, Fermoy, continuing it’s long tradition, will implement free parking in its car parks over the Christmas period this year. From Monday, December 8 until the New Year, there will be no charge for the public using any car park in the town.

In a motion to Fermoy Municipal District this week, Cllr Frank O’Flynn called for Cork County Council to put in place ‘a designated free parking schedule for the Christmas period commencing December 8, 2014, for the town of Fermoy in order to ease the burden on local businesses and facilitate and encourage local Christmas shopping.’
