Following a recent survey carried out in Stag Park, Mitchelstown, several agencies have come together with an overall goal of improving the quality of life for residents in the estate.
Cork County Council, Cluid Housing Association, Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services, Ballyhoura Development CLG, The Health Service Executive, Tusla and An Garda Siochana will all be involved in the initiative.
Landscape works are currently under way in improving the overall appearance of the estate and the community house will be reopened to residents shortly, with a number of activities expected to commence in due course.
