Fermoy Area Sports & Community Awards – Who will be overall winner?

Votes are coming in thick and fast from members of the public who will decide who is to be the overall award winner of the Fermoy Area Sports and Community Awards.

Votes are coming in thick and fast from members of the public who will decide who is to be the overall award winner of the Fermoy Area Sports and Community Awards. Voting will close at 5pm on Friday, November 7, votes to be sent (by email only) to joe@slatterytravel.ie (see list of winners below). The overall winner will be announced at a gala presentation ceremony in the Corrin Event Centre on Saturday, November 8.

There has been a noticeable increase in demand for tickets for the gala presentation dinner since Monday, the hurlers' county championship win being hailed as the cause for the upsurge. Fermoy GAA was named as one of the winners by the judging panel.

The event, which will have comedian Alan Shortt as MC, incudes a cheese and wine reception, pre-dinner entertainment by the Castlelyons Gospel Choir and a sumptious meal to be followed by dancing to the Kieran Kramer Band.
