With upwards of 700 competitors already signed in, registrations continue to flood in for D'Hillbillies Mud Run which takes place at Gortnahown on this Saturday Nov 1. And yes, registrations will be taken on the day though on-line registration is recommended. The event is expected to kick off from approximately 10am for what is going to be the fune event of the year and it's all in aid of the Mercy Hospital's cancer appeal fund.

Billy O'Donovan and the gang behind Mitchesltown Lions Club have been working flat out to ensure all is in readiness for the big event.

The Mud Run is open to individuals and teams and participants must be over 16. Entry is €35 per person and teams of 20+ is €25 per person. Registration is essential and while registrations will taken on the morning of the mud run, you are advised to sign up online at www.mercyfundraising.ie or by calling (021) 4274076.
