TVM wins Woman Led Business Award in Dublin

Bartlemy-based TVM, has won the Woman Led Business Award at the national final of the 2014 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards.

TVM, based in Bartlemy, has won the Woman Led Business Award at the national final of the 2014 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. The awards, which took place at the Mansion House in Dublin on 4th December, toasted the cream of the crop in Irish business crowning ten finalists from Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht.

TVM is a leading outside broadcasting facilities provider based in Bartlemy. Established in 1986, the company is led by Helen Arnold and has 50 employees. Using the most advanced technology and highly skilled personnel, TVM enables programme makers to consistently deliver top quality programmes. Its main customers are Sky, BBC, TG4, Setanta Ireland, RTÉ, TV3, and various production houses.

Receiving the award Helen Arnold from TVM said winning the award was 'a fantastic achievement' for her company.

"It is a credit to the tenacity and dedication of our team and it associates us with a long line of successful businesses recognised by the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. We congratulate all of the businesses celebrating their success and thank Ulster Bank for honouring us with this award,” she said.

Along with Television Mobiles Ltd, eight other leading businesses from across the country were named national winners in their individual award categories, and the Business Women Can Special Recognition Award went to Janet McCollum, Chief Executive Officer, of Moy Park. The overall winner was Armagh based Almac.

Other winners on the night included: Best Business Start Up - Smart Wall Paint; Small Business Award - FCS Global; Best Established SME - Reagecon Diagnostics Ltd; Food and Drink - Avondale Foods; Social Enterprise - The Food Hub; International Business - Realex Payments; Agri-business - Paul Brophy Produce.
