The Parent's Council for Ballygiblin NS are appealing to people to do a bit of a spring clean and donate any old mobile phones to the school, so that the school can get technology and equipment, while the drive will also benefit Irish Autism Action.

The school registered with Irish Autism Action for their mobile phone recycling appeal and by donating phones, the school can receive much needed resources and equipment.

As the festive season approaches, people are being urged to look through old drawers and at the back of cabinets for phones that will never be used again, as these can be recycled and put to good use for the future.

The appeal will stay open until the end of January 2015, which means that if anyone is getting a new phone for Christmas, they can give their old one a new lease of life through this worthy appeal.

The Parent's Council are putting the appeal out to students, staff and parents as well as friends, neighbours, relatives and work colleagues.

They would also like to thank everyone who supported their recent clothes collection and due to its success, they will have another collection on May 7, 2015.
