Ireland’s first hardware industry-specific job search website has been launched.
This provides retailers, merchants and suppliers a platform that enables them to reach out to potential employees that match prescribed skill sets in often niche areas across hardware/DIY retail, builders merchants and suppliers and manufacturers to the trade.
Likewise, potential employees will be able to find those seeking their skills and trade across the country.
The new website (www.hardwarejobs.ie), created by the Hardware Association Ireland (HAI), the national representative body for hardware/ DIY retailers and builder merchants, manufacturers and distributors, is in response to the sector experiencing its fifth consecutive year of growth.
The hardware sector is a vital component in the construction industry supply chain and current trends point to robust and sustainable growth in both sales volumes and employment.
HAI is reaching out to its nearly 400 members across national and international companies, manufacturers and distributors to the trade, as well as to jobseekers, to avail of the new unique platform for the Irish hardware industry.
As well as posting vacancies to relevant and suitable candidates, members can also showcase their businesses and benefits of working there to potential employees.
