The area outside Fr Ferris Park and the national school in Castlelyons has become a treacherous area every day at school times.
Cars are being abandoned aimlessly on the side of the road causing pandemonium and a health and safety concern for parents, children and others who are walking in the area.
It is also very dangerous for other vehicles in the area, as the junction is commonly used by trucks and milk tankers as well as other vehicles.
