This Tuesday, March 20 marked the 1st anniversary of Fermoy native Tina’s Satchwell’s disappearance from her home in Youghal.
The Irish Times revealed on Wednesday that investigating officers have spoken to Tina's GP in her native Fermoy and obtained her medical notes.
It is not believed the notes have proven to be of any great assistance however, it trying to establish what happened to her.
The extensive search for evidence as to her whereabouts in Mitchells Wood, Castlemartyr concluded on Friday last.
A number of items were found in the wood during the search and they will now be examined to see if they are connected with her disappearance.
Richard Satchwell, Tina’s husband has made multiple television appearances and have been interviewed by newspapers and by radio stations in the hope that someone with information on Tina’s whereabout will come forward.
Mr Satchwell, who has always insisted he has played no part in Tina's disappearance, agreed with Paul Byrne on TV3 News that he is prepared to take a lie detector test, "when I feel right" (referring to him presently being on medication).
The Garda Press Office told The Avondhu on Wednesday: "The case remains under investigation. There are no updates."
Gardai have renewed their appeal for anyone who may have information in relation to Tina’s disappearance to contact the incident room at Midleton Garda Station at 021-4621550 or the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666111.
