Within the colourful and vast world of flowers, roses are quite possibly the most striking, varied and arresting in their beauty and at Just Roses in Kilfinane, Alan and Josie have turned their passion for all things rosy into a successful business.
Alan Whetham and Josie McMahon have always had a passion for roses and rather than establishing a garden centre, which would cater for all kinds of plants and flowers, they stock over 3,000 roses, which span across more than 150 varieties, all Irish grown.
Just Roses is the only specialist rose centre in the country and people travel from all over to the Kilfinane centre.
Alan said that the fact that the roses are Irish grown is integral to the service they offer, as the roses will last through the seasons and acclimatise very well.
