Painting bales for Crumlin

Last week, the Rea family were home on holidays from various parts of the world - San Francisco, France, Germany and some Irish. Most of the nieces and nephews met on the family farm at Cloughleafin near Mitchelstown and spent the afternoon painting their stack of purple bales, and all for a good cause. “The idea was to do it as a fundraiser for the Purple for Crumlin initiative,” Eamonn Rea told The Avondhu. The time lapse video and pictures are the result.
