The manager of Clogheen Community Playgroup has this week informed The Avondhu that Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, is set to reduce its funding to them by €5,000, essentially putting the future of the preschool into jeopardy.
The normal grant received from Tusla of €12,000 has now been reduced to €7,000, with concerns for the future of the pre-school.
Speaking to The Avondhu, manager Sharon Dempsey said that: “We are a small operation. We cater for a maximum of ….”
