518 approved applicants have indicated Fermoy as their area of preference when applying for Social Housing Support, according to figures shared at this week’s Northern Committee meeting.
A motion put forward by Glanworth councillor, Frank O’Flynn requested an up to date position on the number of people on the council housing list for areas within the Fermoy Municipal District.
The second highest figure indicated that 265 applicants set Mitchelstown as their area of preference, while 152 indicated Rathcormac and 132 Kilworth.
