Motorists are warned of traffic disruption on the Cork-Dublin motorway this week, with the M8 closed due to roadworks between Junction 13 Fermoy and Junction 14 Mitchelstown from 7am on Monday, August 27 until 8pm on Friday, August 31.
Both north and south-bound carriages will be closed during this period.
Diversions will be in place via the old N8 (R639). Motorists are asked to take extra care due to the volume of traffic expected on the old road during the week.
