Come the end of June, once again all paths will be leading to Kilfinane in Co Limerick. Returning for its third year, Kilfinane’s Rocky Mayhem Festival continues to go from strength to strength.

This year the festival is spread over two weekends and again will be providing the best entertainment around with something for everyone. Set in the wonderfully atmospheric courtyard of McCarthy’s in the centre of town, the Marquee will open on Saturday, June 22nd and play host to the ever popular Brendan Grace and his timeless brand of humour. The following evening sees local favourites Handipak and Footloose banging out the classics alongside Cork band Deuces Wild like tomorrow will never come. With a Special appearance by Voice of Ireland winner Keith Hanley and support provided by Cairde Snaithaide and Devil in the Kitchen Sunday 23rd will be very special indeed.

Totally Non profit, with all funds raised going towards a very much needed Community Centre for the town and district the following weekend sees Jimmy Buckley back in town due to enormous demand on Friday 28th and bringing the curtain down organisers Kilfinane Community Council are delighted to announce Saturday 29th will see international acts Damien Dempsey, The Riptide Movement and The Cast of Cheers supported by up and coming Limerick band Raging Sons gracing the stage.

With ticket sales already way beyond expectation, Kilfinane will again be heaving with visitors from all around Ireland as well as the UK, Europe and indeed the U.S.

Another fantastic and relaxing family afternoon is also planned for Sunday 30th showing if Rocky Mayhem has missed an age group out this year then they probably haven’t been born.

Ticket prices for all nights are again sensibly priced and available online along with full event details at www.rockymayhem.ie Tickets will also be available shortly in all the usual outlets.
