Many people from Mitchelstown and surrounding areas will be familiar with St Joseph's Foundation in Charleville and the invaluable services they provide to people with disabilities and their families.

For the fourth year, Orna Cogan, whose father co-founded St Joseph's Foundation, will be holding a coffee morning to raise money for St Joseph's and she hopes that people will support the good cause at the coffee morning on Saturday, March 1, in Kildorrery Parish Hall from 11am until 1pm. As well as cakes, treats, tea and coffee, there will be a bric-a-brac sale, face painting and a craft and pottery sale.

Over the past few years, Orna has raised €12,000 for St Joseph's Foundation, through the annual coffee morning, church gate collections and bag packs and all support so far has been greatly appreciated.

Orna would like to thank everyone who has donated and helped in any way so far and all donations of cakes, baked goods or bric-a-brac would be much appreciated and can be brought along to Kildorrery Parish Hall from 7pm on Friday, February 28.

Anyone who is free to give up some of their time on Saturday, March 1 as a volunteer or wishes to find out more, can contact Orna on 087 1172188.
