For the past 15 years, Joe Mannix has dedicated his working life to An Post and at a function in Mitchelstown to mark his retirement, that hard work and dedication was recognised.

Joe is originally from Buttevant, but for the past 15 years, he has been delivering parcels, first in Kildorrery, then on to the main street of Mitchelstown and the outskirts of the town.

On Wednesday, March 16, friends, family and colleagues gathered in The Hunter’s Rest, Mitchelstown to bid Joe farewell from the world of packages, stamps and deliveries.
