COPE, Fermoy, an organisation that works with those with special needs, is busy raising funds for a badly needed people carrier that is essential for transporting residents.

This fantastic organisation got a great boost recently when they were informed that a newly established vintage club (Fermoy Blackwater Vintage Club) will donate all proceeds from a forthcoming vintage/classic car and motorcycle run.

ALL HAPPENING ON SUNDAY, 25TH SEPTEMBER

This eagerly anticipated run, which will have two routes (a 50k and a 90k) takes place on Sunday, 25th September. Registration takes place in Fermoy Town Park from 10.30am to 11.30am with departure timed for 12 noon sharp. The event also includes refreshments, entertainment and spot prizes – in addition there will be 2 special prizes for best overall car and motorcycle.

The club wishes to thank Denis Cremin for taking up the position of route co-ordinator.
