Students at Youthreach in Fermoy this week surprised the hardworking teachers of St Joseph’s National School and the local businesses in the Faber Castel Business Park with a delivery of freshly baked scones, as part of their new business to raise funds for a recreation room in the Youthreach centre.

Back in February, as reported in The Avondhu, Youthreach students delivered a gift of Valentine-themed cupcakes to the local businesses. Many of the recipients were so impressed with the students’ catering skills they asked if the students would be able to start a regular delivery. Responding to this request, the students began working on baking business ideas.
