Having made the decision to leave Ireland and to follow his music dreams in Los Angeles earlier this year, Fermoy’s Steven Forde has recently performed his debut show in America. The 23-year-old performed in arguably the most famous Irish bar in Los Angeles, ‘Molly Malones’, and said the reaction to his debut show was ‘fantastic, really humbling’.

Speaking to The Avondhu this week, Steven said he’s looking ahead to his next show in early November, while all the time working in the studio with a variety of different producers as he prepares his debut album. The hip-hop/pop artist said he is enjoying working with the most gifted people in their field, from photographers and videographers to audio engineers and designers, as he plots his rise to stardom in LA.
