International Clinical Trials Day 2017 will see of variety of events taking place around the country this week to promote understanding of the benefit of clinical research for Irish patients. 

Improving Patient Health Through Clinical Research a seminar in the Mansion House earlier this week, held by the HRB CRCI, noted there is a 37% increase in the number of sites conducting clinical research in Ireland since 2014.

Ireland has potential to increase its international reputation as a clinical research hub and attract more research projects which provide many benefits for Irish patients.
