160 NEW JOBS FOR MITCHELSTOWN

There will be renewed optimism in Mitchelstown over the Christmas period as multinational retail chain Aldi has announced plans to locate a regional distribution centre in the town, with the creation of 160 jobs.

NEW DRUGS AWARENESS PROJECT FOR MITCHELSTOWN

With the cocaine abuse that is endemic in Ireland making the headlines of late, parents will be relieved to learn that a new drugs awareness enterprise has started in Mitchelstown, being a joint venture between Foroige, the Southern Regional Drugs Taskforce of the HSE with support from the Mitchelstown Lions Club.
