LUCKY ESCAPE IN FERMOY

The owner of this 04 Mercedes automatic had a very lucky escape on Ashe Quay, Fermoy on Monday morning, December 17th last, when he apparently put the gearstick into ‘drive’ instead of ‘park’ and finished up demolishing part of the quay wall. The walkway inside the wall and the fact that one wheel got caught in the railing, prevented the car from entering the Blackwater river. Luckily, no one was feeding the ducks at the time!
